Uguisudani is one of 30 TOKYO Neighbourhood Walk stops around Tokyo's Yamanote Line — everyday life most guidebooks miss. Spend four hours exploring Negishi, Shitaya and Iriya, Taito City, Tokyo with an English-speaking guide, at the pace of a friend showing you around. Leave the station area and notice the signs and corners of the surrounding neighbourhood. Walk past homes and shopfronts and connect local stories with the streets you see today. Share an everyday lunch and learn about the dishes on the local menu. Explore the neighbourhood at its ordinary pace, with the route adapted to local activity. There is time to ask questions, read a menu together and follow the small details that interest you. Your guide brings their own perspective and adapts the walk to the weather, open shops and your walking pace. The neighbourhood theme and included services stay the same; the exact streets and lunch venue may vary. A simple local lunch is included for guests aged six and over. Extra food, drinks and personal purchases are optional and paid separately. This is a private walking tour for your party, with a maximum of six guests including children. The planned finish is Iriya Station. Encounters with residents or shopkeepers happen naturally when appropriate; private homes, workshop interiors and arranged meetings are not part of the tour.

A particular shop, meal or interaction with a resident is not guaranteed. Follow local rules and respect daily life. Light rain may require route adjustments; severe weather may require a change or cancellation under the booking conditions. The tour is planned to finish at Iriya Station. Please arrive 10 minutes before the confirmed start time.
